The previous online store was unable to optimally reflect the diversity of the product world. In particular, UX weaknesses, unstructured categorization and a lack of mobile optimization led to bounces in the purchasing process. There was also a lack of an integrated warehouse solution to support internal processes.
The aim was to develop a technically stable, clearly structured and visually appealing web store that would match the look and feel of the brand as well as optimally serve user behavior on desktop and mobile. At the same time, a Pickware instance had to be connected for automated warehouse management. UX concepts, performance optimization and modular CMS extensions were central to the implementation.
The new web store focuses on FIDLOCK's innovative strength not only visually but also functionally. The clear categorization, revised information architecture and responsive design have significantly improved usability. The integration of Pickware ensures efficiency in warehouse logistics and lays the foundation for scaling the online business. The new store system is modularly expandable and technically prepared for future internationalization strategies.
